Adda at Tata Medical Center Kolkata 12 April 2018 The Chai for Cancer Adda at the Tata Medical Center in Kolkata was all that it was meant to be. Sundowners For a Cause The first Chai for Cancer Adda of 2018 - even as we begin preparing for Season 5. Our supporters are eager to put the Chai for Cancer show on the road. Gayatri Srivastava and her husband Shantanu threw open their home and hearth to her college friends on Friday 6th April. ELSA Mumbai Chapter Alumni got together for what Shantanu called the Sundowners for a Cause. Another corner in Mumbai's ​"​ queen of suburbs ​"- Bandra (West) - became Chai for Cancer turf during the weekend. Host Amrita Masani of FAZE Management along with her friends, well-wishers, artistes and models and a band FOM Volunteers provided all the ingredients for a memorable Adda. Chai For Cancer reached the North-East corner of India, Chai country, making its maiden appearance in Guwahati (Assam) during HAEMATOCON 2017 - the annual conference of the Indian Society of Haematology & Blood Transfusion - thanks to Dr Tapan Saikia (Chair, Scientific Committee) and Dr Jina Bhattacharyya (Organizing Secretary) who kindly invited Viji Venkatesh to the event. The Adda in Chandigargh was 'live' on Red FM as RJ Atishay took aside guests to quiz them about what Chai meant to them. Young college students joined the Adda after hearing the mentions on air. Under the benign gaze of Lord Ganesha, Pune's Chai for Cancer Adda, held on the penultimate evening of the Ganesh Festival, drew a varied crowd of supporters. Ranging from the Police Chief to the Mayor of the city and from residents of Shubash Nagar to the Municipality Staff who ke​ep  the premises clean. The Youth Brigade decided to play two games of the popular Tambola and handed over the entire ticket money collections to Chai for Cancer .Read more
