Two decades ago a little girl named Bhavani lay on a hospital bed in Mumbai surrounded by her ashen-faced parents. She was weeping and imploring them to take her home. She had been diagnosed with cancer. Fortuitously, the twin-share room had another patient. And beside that patient was a certain Viji Venkatesh. She heard Bhavani weeping and came over to her bedside. They spoke. And thereby hangs a tale. A happy ending.Let RJ Praveen (in the Red FM studios of Kolkata) take Bhavani, and us, back in time.
