We are overwhelmed by the enthusiastic and generous response that we have received for this Chai for Cancer Adda hosted by Friends of Max Trustee and Jt. Secretary Pramod George and his wife Mini at their home in Kalyan on Sunday, July 16, 2023. The Adda had a mix of guests- Pramod’s colleagues from the world of print media, the Johns’ friends and young volunteers from their Church Parish and many other friends, family and neighbours, all coming together once again, to support the cause. Some of them who could not join in personally, joined in online to raise their cup of Chai for Cancer!
We asked Pramod to share a personal message for his guests:
“Thank you to all who pledged their support through the Chai for Cancer Adda at our house on 16/07/2023 to the cause for which Friends of Max is committed. It always is a wonderful experience hosting the Adda. It reminds us of our commitment to give back to the community which helped us to get up and move ahead when I was detected with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. It was no different this year. We were joined by school friends, office colleagues, neighbours, parish youth and senior members, family members and FOM members. Thanks to Amma and our radio partners, Red FM. Thanks to all who physically came for the Adda and all those who sipped tea at their house and contributed to the cause.”
