Celebrating 10 years of the Johns’ Adda in Kalyan
This year marked the 10th Chai for Cancer Adda hosted by Pramod and Mini John and their children David and Riya – a tradition that has grown more meaningful with each passing year.
On 10th August 2025, the John family once again opened their home and hearts, welcoming over 140 guests and supporters ; family, friends, neighbours, colleagues, school mates and even their children’s friends. Together, they raised over three lakhs in support of Chai for Cancer. Despite heavy rains, their home that evening saw a steady stream of guests and was filled with warmth, laughter, camaraderie and the spirit of generosity.
Trust in the organisation that I am associated with, says Pramod, Trustee & Jt. Secretary of Friends of Max, reflects the deep faith of my friends that has fueled this tradition for a decade.
A heartfelt thank you to Pramod and Mini’s family and to every single supporter who made this milestone Adda so memorable. No Chai for Cancer season is complete without your love, commitment and tradition. Here’s to many more years of Addas that bring hope and dignity to those who matter most!
