Mumbai, 2-3 Aug 2025

Like every year, Chai for Cancer was proud to be part of the #NationalCancerGrid (NCG) Annual Meeting, held at Tata Memorial Hospital on 2–3 August 2025.

A heartfelt thank you to the NCG team led by Dr. C. S. Pramesh, Director Tata Memorial Hospital and Dr. Manju Sengar, HOD Medical Oncology, who espoused the cause, encouraged the delegates to do so as well and extended their support to the mission of Chai for Cancer — raising awareness and funds for patients and families affected by cancer.

The NCG Annual Meeting brings together leading experts and doctors from NCG-affiliated hospitals across India, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing to strengthen and standardise cancer care nationwide.

A particularly special moment on Sunday 3rd Aug, was the honour of Viji Venkatesh, Friends of Max Managing Trustee, Member of Board The Max Foundation and founder Chai for Cancer campaign, being invited — along with Dr. Kalpana Balakrishnan, Director of the Cancer Institute WIA – Adyar, Chennai — to present the Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Cancer Grid to Dr Suresh Advani, a true legend in the field of oncology.

Grateful for the opportunity given and we look forward to your continued support!
