Remembering Manoj Panicker on His 50th with a special Chai for Cancer Adda.
Yesterday, we celebrated what would have been Manoj Panicker’s 50th birthday with a heartfelt virtual Chai for Cancer Adda, hosted by his dear friends Sujeesh Sukumaran (FOM Trustee) and Bindu Menon.
Manoj’s family, friends, colleagues, and fellow patient advocates — 60 of us — came together to honour a man who inspired us deeply. Stories flowed, memories warmed us, and songs filled the evening with love.
Cancer took him — not CML, but another cruel malignancy — yet Manoj faced every battle with grace, strength, and unshakable purpose.
He taught us to question, to act, and to give — always. And last night, as we raised our cups to the cause he championed, we found comfort, connection, and closure.

Manoj you will be missed always!
