No Chai for Cancer Season is complete without its Addas in Kolkata and Season 13 is no different.
Led by the physicians and healthcare staff of Tata Medical Center (TMC), and supported by the FOM CCLs and volunteers, the first CFC Adda was held at the TMC Waiting Lounge on Friday 12 June.
What was started years ago by Dr Reena Nair has now grown into an annual and eagerly awaited celebration.
Today, under the leadership of Dr. Arijit Nag, with the support of Dr. Shouriyo Ghosh and the full TMC team, the Adda continues to receive overwhelming love and encouragement from patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals and supporters of the cause.
An added attraction this year was the Live Sketch Booth by Bob & Bobby, our design partners. The same master hands behind our Season 13 CFC logo. The live sketches were an unexpected but wonderful experience for all the guests present. All contributions from the sketches went directly to support Chai for Cancer.
Another integral part of the Adda was the presence of our media partners Red FM Kolkata. RJ Nilam and Joe were there with us, amplifying our voice and cause to their millions of followers across the City of Joy and beyond. Thank you for your continued support!
A heartfelt thank you to all the FOM volunteers and City Chapter Leaders led by FOM Trustee Neel Kankani and Viji Venkatesh, who made this Adda so memorable.
