63. It’s always Tea-Time in my World
Hello, all you lovely people at CFC/FOM
Last week we read Norman Wood’s story, ‘Shobha the Bison’ and today we’ll be reading his sister Noreen’s contribution to “Indian Chai Stories”.
From her magical tea garden childhood to present day life in Canada, Noreen tells us it’s ‘always tea time’ for her. ‘Tea is and has always been a strong link to my roots with the tea gardens of Southern India. In a coffee drinking world in North America, tea still has its place in my life and over the years I have got my Canadian friends to appreciate the taste of tea.’
Read on, my friends, once you’ve got that lovely cup of tea in your hands!
Cheers! I’ll be back with another chai time ramble for you next Friday – yeh vaada raha!

Indian Chai Stories
This segment is a result of our fruitful collaboration with Indian Chai Stories, a blog by Gowri Mohanakrishnan, a planter’s wife who’s been writing tea stories for many years and is also an active supporter of Chai for Cancer
Her stories come straight from the tea gardens of India and are best enjoyed with a cup of garam chai.
So go ahead #raiseyourcup #DrinkToACause
