All airwaves lead to Sunday 8 May
It’s not often that a fund-raiser scores above all else.
This week has been something else. Passionate pleas from the Radio Jockeys in their boisterous studios of 93.5 FM have strung together homes in Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata and Ahmedabad.
The classy voices of all the accomplished Jockeys have exhorted listeners to go online and donate in support the Chai for Cancer campaign. As a delighted Viji Venkatesh, chief driver of the 3-year old campaign says, “I couldn’t have asked for more!”

Last year their Bajao for a Cause made an instant connect with young and old alike, triggering over 50 Addas and 4500 cups. This year suggests an even greater impact.
