On Saturday, May 20, 2023 a Chai for Cancer Adda was hosted in Ahmedabad by Ushakant Shah, Trustee Friends of Max and his NGO, Karunakare Foundation in collaboration with the Pacific Group of Companies. Once again as is tradition, the first Chai for Cancer Adda of the New Season, Season 10 this year, was hosted by Viji Venkatesh and her husband Venky at their home in Thane. The Chai for Cancer Season 10 Curtain Raiser was held on May 4, 2023 at the RedFM (our Radio Partners) Mumbai studios. Bonding over Chai, the afternoon had a mix of fun, frolic and some serious conversation too. Over 2800 cups of Chai were raised to create awareness and support CML and GIST patients at the Chai for Cancer Adda held at Thane on Sunday, 2 April 2023. The Adda which began at 11 am we hear went on till late in the evening with friends and family dropping in. Hosted by Rohini & Chirodeep at their warm and welcoming home, the Adda saw Rohini donating her birthday to the cause.
