Diwali is an occasion of giving and celebrating in togetherness. The emotion was best depicted at the V-Care Foundation office by the Vandana Gupta and her team when they hosted a Chai for Cancer Adda as part of their festive celebrations on 23rd October. The event saw their entire team joining in an atmosphere of love, laughter, joy and music. Friends of Max Trustee Pramod George hosted a Chai for Cancer Adda at his home in Kalyan on 16th October. It is tradition for Pramod to host an Adda every year but this one was special because CFC came back to his home after a gap of three years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Shormishtha Mukherjee author of the book, “Cancer, You Picked the Wrong Girl” in which she documents her diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer is known to Viji Venkatesh and is also no stranger to Chai for Cancer having attended our events at Bandra in December 2021 and May 2022.  It was only a matter of time before this feisty friend of ours hosted an Adda!  And it happened over the weekend on 25/9. Friends of Max’s Kolkata City Chapter Leaders hosted a Chai for Cancer Adda at Victoria Memorial on Saturday, 16th July. And what an Adda it was! Dr Reena Nair and her team along with the FOM Kolkata City Chapter Leaders hosted their annual CFC Adda at the Tata Medical Centre, Kolkata. It is tradition for Dr Nair to host an Adda at the hospital and her team was very excited to do this after a gap of two years due to the COVID-19 lockdown. The Red FM Mumbai team hosted their annual Chai for Cancer Adda at their studios on 10th June.
