Friends of Max, Mumbai
The Friends of Max Trustees and City Chapter Leaders in Mumbai hosted their first Virtual Chai for Cancer Adda on Sunday, 20th February 2022. Since the inception of CFC in 2014, Mumbai has been at the heart of our activities with multiple Addas in the city every year.
The tightly knit FOM Mumbai group assembled at the Adda – each with a cup of tea in hand a smile on their lips. Hosted by our own Trustees – Pramod and Nirmesh aka. “Bhai and Bhidu”, they came ready to share, learn and raise awareness in the true spirit of Chai for Cancer.
Also joining us was RJ Yamini of Red FM Mumbai, our ever so supportive Radio Partners. Yamini, who described the sharing atmosphere at the meeting as “contagious”, was a welcome presence at the Adda and also brought out her guitar to perform a solo for a grateful audience.
The Virtual platform enabled our patient leaders not just from Mumbai and other parts of India but also abroad. It was indeed a perfect evening with our wonderful singers spreading their melodies and patient leaders reminiscing old memories and sharing inspiring stories of their lives.
