A preview to Colors of Hope, an exhibition of artwork by patients living with cancer

Friends of Max and Nine Fish Art Gallery collaborated ‘Colors of Hope’, a unique fundraising exhibition of artwork created by patients living with cancer, was on display at the Byculla gallery from 30 June 2023 to 9 July 2023.

The collection featured the creativity and the talent of patients diagnosed with cancer while providing them with a platform to express themselves and find solace in art during their challenging journey. The collection featured paintings by patients from all walks of life, over the last 20 years, representing different stages of their cancer journey. Each piece speaks a unique story, capturing the emotions, challenges and triumphs experienced by them.

The exhibition attracted a diverse group of art enthusiasts, cancer survivors, caregivers and individuals passionate about supporting the cause. So happy to have had Prabhakar Kolte, Dolly Thakore, Sonal Sancheti, Vandana Gupta, Deepa Mehta along with so many guests who took time to come for this show. Every last paisa of funds raised, goes towards covering the patients’ diagnostic and travel costs, supporting their children’s education and other seemingly small unmet needs.
