Victoria Memorial Adda, Kolkata 16th July 2022
Friends of Max’s Kolkata City Chapter Leaders hosted a Chai for Cancer Adda at Victoria Memorial on Saturday, 16th July. And what an Adda it was! Our energetic volunteers Neel Kankani and Narendra Nath Saha set up the CFC stall at 6 AM under the morning sun.
They were soon joined by patient leaders from all over the city. Also joining us were Bob and Bobby – creators of the caped kulhad – our mascot for Season 9! The Red FM Kolkata team lent their full support with RJs Praveen, Nilayan, Aritra and Mallika present at the Adda.
Morning walkers, kids on roller skates, FOM City Chapter Leaders and their families and Viji Venkatesh’s Twitter followers – all came together, raised a cup of garam chai, learnt about our cause, purchased the CFC T-shirts and donated generously in support of cancer patients in need. And the amazing Red FM team was there to capture the precious moments at this Adda.
